Thats right I'm filing a Restraining Order on behalf of my ears against Joe Morgan's mouth and any words uttered about baseball. How can somebody who has been in the baseball world for so long and is a Hall of Fame second basemen babble on about nothingness for an entire game and pass it off as baseball knowledge. Morgan must be black-mailing ESPN for keeping him on the air for so long, but the madness has to stop. I begging ESPN... I just about lost it when he gave the OK on Soriano's pregame warmups because he'd been watching.
Because it's impossible to pull a muscle when Joe Morgan is spotting you in the warmups.
I agree 100% that Joe is an awful announcer. He either constantly repeats himself or belabors a point for 10-15 minutes until I find myself screaming at the TV "Shut up Joe!" I kept last night's game (Glavine's 300th win) mostly on mute. I can't believe ESPN doesn't realize how bad he is.
Joe Morgan is the absolute WORST. Period.
